Cephalopods and Sea Cucumbers

The beauty of macro photography is that it allows you to really look at the details of marine creatures which are not initially noticeable when you first see it face to face in the water.

Sea cucumbers aren't cephalopods, and actually belong to the Echinodermata category (spiny-skinned animals), which also includes sea urchins and sea stars. But as they're squirmy like cephalopods, I'm putting them here. Science teachers, just humour me and be glad I'm not in the teaching line.

I posed with this huge chap so that its monstrous size would be captured, but I couldn't bring myself to lie flat next to him... Also note the do-do he left behind.
